Blake Shelton’s Oklahoma fans may want to clear up their schedules for the rest of the day. Recently, the country music star tweeted out some news that left us with our mouths open.

“I’ve got some shows coming up soon, so I’m gonna be rehearsing today around 4 CT at @OleRed’s The Doghouse in Tishomingo. Come on out and get yourself a drink if you’re bored. I repeat, it’s only a rehearsal… It may not be good, but at least it’s free!”

Of course, his fans were more than excited in the replies section. Some of Shelton’s fans even hilariously posted screenshots of a maps image of how far they were from Tishomingo, Okla.

“Good Luck for the Rehearsal I’m sure you will sound fantastic! Wish I could be there but too far for me to come at short notice unfortunately as I live in UK. Any chance you could film it and put it on Twitter or YouTube for us to all enjoy?” one user asked in the replies.

Although some of his fans can’t make the unexpected rehearsal show, Blake Shelton’s restaurant, Ole’ Red, made sure to let them know they had something in the works for them. “We’re workin’ on something special for those of you who can’t get to Tish today for this special surprise…” the official account wrote in the replies.

Blake Shelton Trading Honeymoon for Touring

Although he just tied the knot with Gwen Stefani, Shelton is bypassing a traditional honeymoon to get back to performing.

“After the wedding everyone left town and Gwen and Blake spent a few days on the ranch with just her kids,” a source shared with E! “It was really relaxing and they could let everything from the weekend sink in.”

To kick off his Friends and Heroes Tour, Shelton will be traveling to Minnesota for his first show at a country music festival on August 5. Shelton will perform all over the country through the end of October.

After the tour, the “God’s Country” singer will have to return to Los Angeles to shoot Season 21 of “The Voice,” which will return to NBC this fall.

As for whether or not fans will get a glimpse of his new wife at the rehearsal, she is also in the midst of a busy summer.

The pop star is balancing a hectic schedule of her own with a Las Vegas residency, but she could always end up surprising Shelton’s fans with an appearance and maybe a performance alongside her hubby.

In the summer of 2020, Shelton had to cancel the final few shows left on his tour due to the pandemic.

After disappointing fans found out the news, Ticketmaster offered refunds for those who bought tickets for the canceled shows. At the time, Shelton was unsure if he could finish the tour later. Now, he gets the chance to pick up where he left off.
