Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are newly wedded and blissfully happy.
And in an interview with People, Shelton gave fans a little peek into their lives as husband and wife.
The couple got hitched during an intimate ceremony last month, which caused a little drama with the stars’ friends. The couple wanted to avoid a “media circus,” so they opted to keep their guest list short. But in the end, no one had hard feelings.
At the wedding, Gwen looked flawless as she walked down the aisle in a stunning Vera Wang gown. And their friend Carson Daly had the honor of officiating.
“Married life so far is… it’s incredible,” he swooned. “I mean, it’s everything that it already was, which was awesome. She just can’t get away from me now.”
Now the festivities are behind them, and the honeymoon is over, the power couple is getting back on the stage. Though, Shelton didn’t really take a break from singing after saying, “I do.” After spending a short honeymoon at home in Oklahoma, the two jumped on a bus and headed to his latest tour.
Blake Shelton recently sat down with People to talk about his upcoming appearance at the CMA Summer Jam. And while he was chatting, he couldn’t help but gush about his beautiful bride.
The couple will take the stage together in Nashville this weekend. And they’ll perform “Happy Anywhere.” What song could be more appropriate?
Gwen Stefani Thanks Blake Shelton For Taking Her on Tour
Blake Shelton and his new wife spent the last month on the road for his Friends and Heros tour. And Gwen recently took to Instagram to thank Shelton for letting her tag along.
In a video clip, Stefani donned a pair of sparkly pink knee-high boots, black fishnet stockings, a ruffle-trimmed denim skirt, and a shiny pink button-up shirt. “@Blakeshelton thank u for having me on the #friendsandheroestour gx,” she captioned.
Stefani lovingly refers to her recent travels as a ” honeymoon tour” since the newlyweds hit the road shortly after their low-key wedding.
Stefani may be back home after supporting her husband on his Friends and Heros tour, but she’ll be heading out to Las Vegas with her own band in October.
