Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Are ‘Happy Anywhere’ With Upcoming Performance at CMA Summer Jam

The “honeymoon tour” for Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani continues this week with a special appearance at CMA Summer Jam in Nashville.

According to People, the three-hour-long performance will air on ABC tomorrow night. CMA Summer Jam was filmed earlier at the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville and features more than 20 of the biggest stars in country music.

Aside from Blake Shelton and his wife Stefani, Carrie Underwood will perform alongside Dwight Yoakam. We’ll also see Mickey Guyton, Jimmie Allen, Gabby Barrett, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Carly Pearce, Cole Swindell, Thomas Rhett, and Lainey Wilson.

It’s an impressive line-up, but we’re excited to see the lovebirds perform their classic duet together.

Stefani’s tagged along on Shelton’s Friends and Heroes Tour all month long. She’s performed hits on stage with him like “Don’t Speak,” from her old 90s band No Doubt. The couple also performed duets “Happy Anywhere” and “Nobody But You” while on tour. According to People, “Happy Anywhere” will be the highlight of their performance at CMA Summer Jam.

Blake Shelton also opened up about his two months of marriage to Stefani to the outlet. The couple tied the knot on July 3, 2021, at Shelton’s farm in Oklahoma.

“Married life so far is… it’s incredible,” Shelton told People. “I mean, it’s everything that it already was, which was awesome. She just can’t get away from me now.”

Stefani seems to be loving her time on tour with Shelton. She’s posted regular updates on Instagram from their time together, showing off clips of the two on stage as well as behind-the-scenes footage. The two even made time for a quick trip to the San Diego Zoo with Stefani’s children while they were in the area.

Blake Shelton Celebrates Huge Milestone for Hit Single ‘God’s Country’

Earlier today, Blake Shelton posted a clip from the music video for his hit song “God’s Country” on his Instagram page.

“Thank you for every single play of #GodsCountry!! And cheers to 150,000,000 @youtube views!!! -Team BS,” Shelton wrote in the caption.

It’s an impressive milestone, especially when the song just released two years ago. During that time, it went triple platinum and won Single of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards. On Spotify, the song’s racked up more than 205 million streams.

And, according to Deadline, it’ll even become a TV series! Blake Shelton and Gary Scott Thompson will produce the series. The synopsis reads, “When the patriarch of a hardworking Midwestern farm family dies mysteriously in a car accident, his grown children discover he was keeping a devastating secret they could never have imagined.”

We can’t wait for NBC to air the series. Stay tuned for more info as it comes right here at Outsider.
