After there were rumors they were breaking up, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani officially announced – they’re engaged. Shelton revealed an image of the couple kissing while Stefani held up her engagement ring.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Have Been Dating for Five Years

The couple has been together for five years. They started dating after being judges together on the musical competition The Voice. They recently started filming the new season for the TV Show. During COVID-19, Shelton and Stefani spent time together in Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch. They recently bought a $13.2 million home together in Encino, California, signaling they were taking their relationship to the next level.

“We’ve all been in quarantine and lockdown, and hopefully we’ve been doing that with somebody that we really love and enjoy being around,” Shelton said previously in a statement. “That’s what happened with Gwen and me this summer — and this entire year.”

In mid-October, Stefani addressed the rumors that the couple was calling it quits on The Today Show. While she refused to comment on a possible wedding, she said the two were happy together. A little over a week later, the couple has announced their engagement and appear happy.

“Wow. That’s a really good question,” Stefani said at the time. “The good news is that we still like each other a lot. That’s good.”

Both Singers Have Been Nominated for an AMA Award

In other good news for the couple, both Shelton and Stefani have been nominated for an American Music Association Award. Shelton’s song “Nobody But You,” which features Stefani, is up for an AMA Favorite Country Song Award.

The singers released the song in December 2019, which features on Shelton’s album Fully Loaded: God’s Country. The song is the third duet by Shelton and his fiance Stefani. Afterward, they released another single “Happy Anywhere” this summer, which they also performed at the ACM Awards.
