Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are happy anywhere, and they don’t care who knows it. The couple recently released a live video of their hit single “Happy Anywhere.”

The tune is the fourth collaboration Shelton and Stefani released together. They unveiled the song digitally earlier this summer on July 24, 2020. Shelton revealed that isolating together during the COVID-19 pandemic inspired much of the song’s lyrics.

“Even though Gwen and I just had a single out we decided that, under the circumstances, this year… man, there’s never been a better time for ‘Happy Anywhere,’” Shelton said in a statement. “We’ve all been in quarantine and lockdown, and hopefully we’ve been doing that with somebody that we really love and enjoy being around. That’s what happened with Gwen and me this summer — and this entire year.”

They’ve performed the song live a couple of times, most recently at the ACM Awards. Their previous collaboration “Nobody But You” before was nominated for an AMA Award for Favorite Country Song as well. Ultimately, Dan + Shay took home the trophy during the award ceremony. But Shelton won Best Country Album of the Year.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Are Planning a Wedding

Outside of their musical collaborations, both Shelton and Stefani appear to be a happy couple. The two started dating after appearing on “The Voice” together and have been together for five years. So far, 2020 has been a big year for the couple and their relationship off-stage. Earlier this year, the two bought a multi-million dollar home together, and more recently, Shelton finally popped the question.

The two are currently planning their wedding, which they want to be a more intimate affair. Stefani said she doesn’t want a big wedding. When they’re not accepting awards or playing music together, Shelton and Stefani will spend weekends together such as spending the day on horseback.

For the upcoming season of “The Voice,” Stefani announced she would be taking some time off.
