Country artist Blake Shelton hilariously slams his friend, Luke Bryan, over his Jockey underwear Super Bowl commercial.
Luke Bryan and his wife, Caroline, starred in a Jockey Underwear commercial in August of 2020, but the ad started gaining attention after it aired during the Super Bowl.
In an interview with CMT reporter Cody Alan, Blake Shelton trolls his friend for his recent commercial in just his undies.
Blake Shelton is “Disgusted” by Luke Bryan’s Commercial
When asked if the thought of Luke Bryan in his underwear disgusts him, Shelton has a hilarious answer that notes some questionable hygiene choices.
“Well, it is disgusting, but it’s not surprising,” Shelton replied. “Luke just seems like one of those guys that walks around his house in his underwear all day with pee stains on them. He just seems like that kind of guy, doesn’t he? If he doesn’t have to put clothes on, he probably doesn’t.”
Blake Shelton then goes on to joke about Luke Bryan’s beautiful wife, Caroline, who was also featured in the commercial.
“Caroline in her underwear doesn’t sound as disgusting to me,” he joked. “That’s just me, though.”
Cody Alan agreed with Shelton and added, “I’m gay, and it sounds better to me!”
Country Star’s Underwear Commercials
According to Pop Culture, Luke Bryan is relaxing on the couch watching TV when Caroline walks in with a large box from Jockey. She notes that they are for the upcoming Jockey shoot Bryan will partake in.
“Are you nervous?” she asks him. “Am I nervous?” Luke Bryan states, “I’ve been working out.” As Caroline shows her husband his deliveries, he declares one pair his “go-to” before Caroline holds up a pair she loves. “I know you like me in them,” he says before his grin is erased by a pair of thong underwear. “This is a prank, is what that is,” he says before Caroline slingshots the underwear at him. “‘Bout took my eye out with that dental floss!”
Blake Shelton is in no place to judge, though. In 2015 the country star starred in a Gildan underwear commercial. However, it is way less cringy, in our opinion.
In addition, Blake Shelton, his fiancee and pop star Gwen Stefani, and Adam Levine all starred in a T-Mobile commercial during the Super Bowl. Furthermore, the commercial was PG and won’t be giving Luke Bryan nightmares in return.
