Blake Shelton looked like the luckiest guy in the world when he saw his bride, Gwen Stefani, walk down the aisle this weekend.

The love birds tied the knot in Oklahoma over the weekend. To officiate the small ceremony, the couple recruited one of their close friends: Carson Daly. On Tuesday, “The Voice” host confirmed via Instagram that he had officiated their nuptials, sharing a series of snaps from the wedding along with a heartfelt caption.

Daly, who’s known Stefani for over 25 years, began his post with a shot of Stefani walking down the aisle as Shelton gazed lovingly at her. In the pic, his fans can also see Daly standing by Shelton’s side.

In the second photo, Daly poses with the newlyweds. The third was a photo of the host and his family, and the last image was a photo of the Dalys joined by the couple. “Here comes the bride…so honored to get to marry two of my favorite people on earth,” Daly captioned his post. “May God bless you guys in this new chapter of your lives. We love you!”

On Saturday, July 3, the singers got married at a small chapel Blake Shelton had built for Stefani on his ranch. The two kept their ceremony small, with only around 40 of their friends and family attending to witness the pair walk down the aisle.

Stefani and Shelton have been together for around six years. They’ve both been married in the past. This relationship is Stefani’s second marriage. She was previously married to musician Gavin Rossdale from 2002 to 2015. Shelton was previously married to Kaynette Gern from 2003 to 2006 and Miranda Lambert from 2011 to 2015.

Carson Daly’s Attempts To Keep Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Apart

Earlier this year, Daly revealed that he tried to persuade Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani not to date one another.

He told Stefani during a joint interview on the TODAY Show: “Five years ago, when you started to date Blake, you’ll remember this, we went back to your house, your old house in LA, and I sat you and Blake down in the kitchen. And I said, ‘You guys, pump the brakes. This is not good. This is not going to work.'”

“And I looked at Gwen, and I said, ‘You’re much, much too good for this guy. You’re smart, you’re intelligent, you’re one of my oldest friends,'” he continued, joking, “And then there’s Blake.”

Thankfully, Stefani listened to her heart and decided not to take her friend’s advice. “What don’t I love about Blake, and what don’t we all love about Blake? I feel like it’s very mutual in the room right now, Hoda,” Stefani said about her husband. “He’s just such a good guy. He’s one of the most generous human beings and down to earth. It almost sounds generic, but it’s just so true.”
