Country music superstar Blake Shelton took to social media on Sunday afternoon to wish all of his fans and followers a happy Easter.
While Shelton is more than likely enjoying the day attending Easter service and spending time with his family, he couldn’t forget to engage with his fans as well. The Oklahoma native wished a happy holiday in true southern fashion.
“Happy Easter, y’all!!!!” Shelton wrote on Twitter.
And country music fans were quick to respond to Shelton’s thoughtful tweet. One fan named Lynnie (@TweetThisBabe) commented with a kind message for the country star and his wife. She even implies that perhaps the two music stars should have a child of their own.
“Happy Easter Blake to you, @gwenstefani and your entire families!” she replied. “May you have a blessed and wonderful time celebrating this day. Now, get back out there and keep hunting for those Easter Eggs, if you are lucky maybe, just maybe you’ll find one in Gwen! #BabyBlakey Oops.. 😂🙏🏼”
Although Blake Shelton does not have any of his own children, he is the step-father to Gwen Stefani’s three kids. Stefani shares Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 6, with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Back in 2019, Shelton, Stefani, and the three kids all spent Easter Sunday together. In addition to attending Easter services on Sunday morning, the family did some grocery shopping and even stopped by Stefani’s parents’ house.
Blake Shelton Reacts to Ariana Grande Joining ‘The Voice’
Blake Shelton spends a lot of his time around pop stars. In addition to celebrating Easter with his pop star wife, Gwen Stefani, he will be spending time around another one on the set of The Voice. The show announced recently that Ariana Grande will be joining Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend as coaches for Season 21.
And Shelton shared his thoughts about Grande joining the crew while speaking with the Today show’s Hota Kotb on Wednesday. Shelton says he is a big fan.
“They never let us know who it’s going to be, by the way, until… I think we found out about two days ago,” he said. “The producers texted us and said it was going to be Ariana. So, I’m excited about it. I’m a fan of hers.”
But with all that said, Shelton isn’t going to be taking things easy on the newbie.
“I’m not going to lie,” Shelton said. “We’re still going to beat the crap out of her, you know, on the show. It’s our job. They pay us to win, Hoda. They don’t pay me to lose.”
