“Get yourself a Valentine’s date that looks at you the way Blake Shelton looks at me,” Paisley jests on Twitter. The two country music megastars will host The Grand Ole Opry’s 95 Years of Country Music for NBC. Paisley’s tweet gives fans a glimpse into filming for the special. Within, Shelton looks rather attentive to his country co-star’s presence, doesn’t he?
Brad Paisley certainly seems to think so. Even the Opry’s signature red lighting gives off perfect Valentine’s Day vibes for their budding bromance.
As for the special itself, country fans can catch the big event tonight: Sunday, Feb. 14 at 9-11 p.m. ET/PT. And Paisley & Shelton will be far from alone. According to Opry’s official website, NBC’s special will feature performances by Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Kane Brown, Lady A, Little Big Town, Old Crow Medicine Show, Brad Paisley, and the one and only Dolly Parton.
If that weren’t enough to get you excited, Darius Rucker, Marty Stuart, Carrie Underwood and Trisha Yearwood will be performing, too. Alongside Blake Shelton, of course. First, though, he’ll have to pull his eyes off of Brad Paisley…
