Brad Paisley Reveals Which NFL Team He’s Rooting for on Sunday

The Super Bowl is less than a month away.

Whether your team is no longer in it (sorry Ravens fans) or your team has never been in it (sorry Jaguars fans), everyone has a team they are rooting to take it all the way.

Brad Paisley and the Cleveland Browns

For country artist Brad Paisley, he’s looking to see the Cleveland Browns run away with the win this year. He is supporting the Browns in their game today against the Kansas City Chiefs.

He posted a photo in his Browns merch on Instagram captioned, “Yep #wewantmore #browns”

For the first time in probably 18 years, Brad Paisley is likely beyond happy to be a Browns fan.

In terms of being a sports fan, Paisley is a devoted Los Angeles Dodgers fans and for football he is a Cleveland Browns guy.

Despite being from West Virginia, location doesn’t seem to be a factor in where Paisley places his love and attention in terms of sports.

In an old interview the country singer, who is also a fan of West Virginia University football, said he has an unrealistic dream related to the Browns. He told ESPN, “I’d love to play football for the Cleveland Browns … but forget it; unless they need a kicker which I’m not any good at.”

Welcoming Jedrick Wills Jr.

In terms of fans, Brad Paisley may be Cleveland Brown’s most famous. The three-time Grammy-winning artist has been supporting the Browns long before they had any shot of making it to the Super Bowl. In fact, in a video Paisley welcomed the Browns’ new player, Jedrick Wills Jr.

He joked in an official Cleveland Browns video, “Jedrick Wills Jr. welcome to the Cleveland Browns. I’m Brad Paisley, the designated celebrity representative. I am so excited to have you on this team, one of the most historic franchises in the NFL … we’re glad to have you and can’t wait to see you play this year.”

The Browns have experienced success this year primarily on the shoulders of QB Baker Mayfield and two strong running backs, Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. Brad Paisley’s Browns are up against the Chiefs this afternoon.
