Brad Paisley traveled to a galaxy far away for his most recent Elf on the Shelf idea. The country star shared the Star Wars set-up he created for his sons yesterday. It’s the most recent in a series of impressive recreations he’s made using Santa’s tattling little helpers.
Paisley drew inspiration from the Star Wars prequels. His elves are fighting for the light side of the Force as they face off against the evil General Grievous and Anakin Skywalker. One of the elves holds a blaster while the other wields a green lightsaber like Luke Skywalker.
“May the Christmas force be with you … #elfontheshelf,” the wrote on the video.
It’s the second time Paisley has incorporated the Elf on the Shelf into a cinematic universe. A day before, Paisley uploaded a video showing the elves taking over for Iron Man and Thor and several other characters from the Marvel movies as well as some DC superheroes.
Many of his 1.8 million Instagram followers loved the scenes.
“Hahaha …too funny 🎄🎅🎄 I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. Lol Merry Christmas,” one person posted on one of the videos. “Awesome. Brad Paisley and Star Wars. My Christmas has just officially started,” someone else wrote.
“Omg!! I had to think for a sec!! 🤣😂 How funny!! Both sides of the comic world coming together. 🤦♀️,” another person posted.
Brad Paisley Joins Elf on the Shelf YouTube Show
Brad Paisley is full into the Elf on the Shelf lore. He recently announced he would participate in “The Elf on the Shelf’s Night Before Christmas Storytime.” The show launched on Dec. 2 on YouTube. Paisley narrates stories about one scout elf’s attempts to create the perfect Christmas Eve.
“Around our house, the Christmas season is full of family time and fun traditions,” Paisley said in a statement. “One of my favorites is waking up every morning to discover what kind of happiness and hoopla The Elf on the Shelf Scout Elves got into while we were asleep. Our Scout Elves, Snowflake, and Pinocchio know how to make the holidays a time of joy, celebration and craziness.”
