“B&D REBOOT BAND CAMP… prepping to rumble !!!! RD,” Ronnie Dunn proclaims in the Instagram post, which features a photo of him and Kix Brooks practicing.

Then they will prep for the final tour dates of their Las Vegas Residency with Reba McEntire. The Las Vegas shows will start on December 1st and run until December 15th.
Brooks & Dunn Admit They Never Should Have Worked Out As A Group
During a recent interview with I Miss… 90s Country Radio With Nick Hoffman on Apple Music, Brooks & Dunn admitted that they shouldn’t have really worked together as a music group.
Ronnie Brooks tells Hoffman that he and Kix Dunn were both pretty skeptical at the idea of singing together let alone even considering becoming Brooks & Dunn just yet. “We ere both grown men. Had kind of been around the Nashville block more than one. We both had kind of record deals that didn’t pan out to be much. So when [label executive Tim Dubois] we write some songs together, we both know enough about how things go around that you got nothing to lose.”
Brooks then shared that he and Kix ended up writing their first two No. 1 songs together. “Next thing we know, we’re like, ‘This didn’t make any sense at all. Just never should have worked.’ A duo, we still don’t sing harmonies very good.”
Despite the struggles with harmonies and the 2009 breakup, Brooks & Dunn still managed to pull through and create some hit singles through the years. “If the music can hang around and do its job, then you made your mark,” Kix Dunn stated.
Brooks & Dunn was founded in 1990. The group has recorded a total of 11 studio albums, as well as five compilations albums. They have also released 50 singles and 20 went on to be number one on the Hot Country Songs charts. 19 more reached the top 10.
Brooks & originally ran until August 2009 when they announced their official retirement. People reported that at the time of the retirement, Brooks shared, “We’re still god friends. I’m proud to say we’ve never had a fight. Never even yelled at each other. And that’s the truth.
“We started as co-workers and realized we had a whole lot in common. We’ve ended up more like brothers,” Dunn added.
But Brooks & Dunn regrouped in 2015 to do a Las Vegas Residency with Reba McEntire and have been back together ever since.
