The Brothers Osborne are celebrating Thanksgiving with a “Tiger King” message to their followers.
What Brothers Osborne Had to Say
On Thursday, Nov. 26, John and T.J. wished their fans a Happy Thanksgiving.
“Happy Thanksgiving all you cool cats and kittens,” they wrote. “Remember… don’t speak a word of politics at dinner. Save it for Twitter so you can argue with total strangers. It’s better that way.”

Prior to Thanksgiving, the duo urged their fans to remain safe. “Just a heads up going into this Thanksgiving that COVID is the worst it’s been since its onset in the US,” they wrote. “Asking politely to please exercise caution as much as you can. We’re nearing the end with the vaccine eying the finish line. We got this y’all.”
Their Annual Thanksgiving Tradition
Although things look different this year, John Osborne shared his annual extended family tradition. “What we’ve done the past several years is because it’s so hard to go home, we would have what we call the Misfit Thanksgiving dinner,” he said in a press release. “All the people in Nashville who aren’t able to go home to their families, we would just invite them over to our house and have a big potluck style Thanksgiving dinner.”
He explained that they put numerous tables together and sheets on it to look nicer. “It’s a very redneck display of like tableware, because all the plates don’t match and the forks and knives don’t match, but we don’t care,” he laughed. “People will bring wine, and at the end of the day, we’ll probably have 12-15 people all sitting at dinner together that weren’t able to go home with their families, and just enjoy it with friends. It’s been really fun. Definitely a lot less stress than going home.”
