Country music artist Carly Pearce took to Twitter on Sunday afternoon to inform her followers that she has been listening to some Morgan Wallen.
Pearce posted an update to her Instagram story around noon on Sunday. The update shows a screenshot of her phone and shows her listening to Morgan Wallen’s song “Livin’ the Dream.”
“Can’t get enough! So damn good @morganwallen,” Pearce wrote
Morgan Wallen Opens Up About Downsides to Fame in ‘Livin’ the Dream’
In his newest song “Livin the Dream,” Wallen opens up about the price and downsides of being famous. The singer previously described his new song as one of the most personal songs he ever recorded.
Co-written by Wallen, the song features on Wallen’s upcoming album “Dangerous” and recently released as a single. In a TikTok video, Wallen described the song as “one of, if not the most personal song on my new record.”
The singer also goes on to describe how fame does not always equal happiness. He wrote, “I know I’m super blessed and usually damn happy. But not always. This came from the ‘not always’ part. I bet some of y’all can relate.”
It seems like Pearce can relate.
Carly Pearce Drops ‘Next Girl’ Music Video
In the span of roughly about three and a half minutes, Pearce tackles just about every “creepy man” villain that is all too real for a lot of females.
Pearce released her music video for “Next Girl” on Saturday. She captioned a post on Twitter with, “Filming the music video for #nextgirl made me feel like it was just another Saturday night out. Creepy guys included.”
The Big Machine Records country artist deals with creepy men, but apparently so do some of her fans.
The first commenter said, “Felt that. Guys can be SO gross. And creepy.” Then, ironically enough, a man commented on that saying, “Yeah but girls keep coming back to us lol.”
