Christmas is just around the corner, and Carly Pearce is clearly excited about it. The country singer-songwriter posted a celebratory tweet about the upcoming holiday.

It is December first, and the Christmas season is upon us. The traditional 25 days of Christmas starts now, and the world is rejoicing for the special day.

On Twitter, Pearce shares a gif of herself in pure elation to Twitter.

Pearce captions the post appropriately for the season. “When you realize it’s #december1st and Christmas is just around the corner.”

With the Thanksgiving break over, and while everyone is back at work, Christmas is waiting to interrupt the daily doldrums. Pearce exclaims as much in her post.

Pearce, however, has had a wonderful year. At the Country Music Association awards, she was nominated for four awards. But, more importantly, she won “Musical Event of the Year” for her single “I Hope You’re Happy Now.”

This single with Lee Brice peaked at number seven on the Billboard charts. This song is her second top ten hit. Her first song was a number one hit back in 2017.

Carly Pearce Celebrating the Christmas Season

Pearce loves the holiday season. On November 24, in Atlanta last year, she performed alongside Lea Michele to kick off the Macy’s Christmas Tree lighting.

Last year on a radio interview, Pearce talked about what Christmas and the holidays mean to her. Despite being recently divorced, she will undoubtedly be cheery this year.

“I think just the tradition of being with family, always going to my grandparents’ house on Christmas Eve, and opening presents, and going to midnight Christmas Eve service.”

Now more than ever, being with family is exceptionally important and something that in past was taken for granted. This year with the pandemic still causing havoc, there are more reasons to be happy to spend time with family.

Her fans quickly brought the holiday cheer in their responses to her post. One person even suggests that she should do a cover of the popular Mariah Carey song, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

And another fan shares a gif of Santa Clause happily patting his belly.
