Country music sensation Carly Pearce will drop a new single later this week and took to social media to speak on it. “Show Me Around” is due out on Friday and Pearce says the song has a special meaning to her and her fans.
Pearce says the song is a tribute to legendary Grammy nominated and late songwriter and producer, Busbee. The famed musician and songwriter was an influence on Pearce on her musical style. Busbee passed away in 2019 at 43-years-old. Months before his death, he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer known as glioblastoma.

Pearce put out a tweet on Monday speaking on the impact that Busbee had on her and the message of Show Me Around.

“I knew this song was special from the moment I wrote it,” the country star tweets. “Busbee will forever hold a sweet place in my heart and in my music. I wrote this as a tribute to him but also for his beautiful wife Jess and their three little girls. #Showmearound is out Friday.”
Along with the tweet, Pearce includes a video of her reading comments submitted by fans. She becomes emotional when reading a comment mentioning Busbee’s wife Jess.
“Busbee is my son-in-law,” Pearce says as she reads the reply. “Thank you much — this is beautiful. I am sure it will be comfort to Jess and help the girls remember the sweet times and dreams of the promised future we gave them.”
The country star also includes a link in the tweet where the song can be pre-saved before Friday.
