Carrie Underwood and Family Live Cowboy Life in Colorado Vacation Pics: ‘What a Wonderful Week’

Carrie Underwood looks like she’s straight out of “Yellowstone” in her latest Instagram post. On Saturday, the My Savior singer posted a string of pics from her recent family vacation in the Colorado wilderness.

“What a wonderful week we had @windriverranch ! We rested, made memories and spent time with other families praising God and all that He has made! Thanks to the incredible staff for taking such good care of us and to @plattdavid_ and @mikedonehey and @steve_stenstrom for the studying, music and encouragement. It was a week we won’t ever forget! #FamilyVacation #camp #windriverranch”

In the pics, her fans see a fresh-faced Underwood alongside her cowboy-hat-wearing husband, Mike Fisher. Sticking to the western theme, Underwood wore a plaid button-up paired with a bedazzled belt buckle.

Additionally, she showed her followers several of the activities she and her family took part in while at the ranch. In one pic, she and Fisher are horseback riding, while another shows both their sons, Isaiah, 6, and Jacob, 2, participating in camp activities like archery and feeding farm animals.

According to the ranch’s website, Wind River Ministries is a 501 c3 non-profit organization that acts as a Christian family summer camp that advertises as “a place to rest, to heal and restore the spirit.”

In other Carrie Underwood news, the mega country star just announced some jaw-dropping news when she surprised her fans with an Instagram post telling her fans that her show MY SAVIOR: LIVE FROM THE RYMAN would be released on DVD this summer.

Carrie Underwood Set To Release My Savior DVD

Underwood performed the virtual show exclusively on Facebook this Easter Sunday due to the coronavirus pandemic and included gospel songs from her newest album, My Savior. The concert also featured award-winning gospel singer CeCe Winans, as well as lead singer Bear Rinehart of NEEDTOBREATHE.

Earlier this year, Underwood dropped a trailer for the album and described the experience as being like a dream to her. “This is legacy stuff to me. I feel like at the heart of it all is an album like this one.”

Songs on the album include original songs as well as traditional hymns like “How Great Thou Art,” “Amazing Grace,” and “Just As I Am.” After announcing the news, fans couldn’t contain their excitement about the DVD drop. But, unfortunately, at the time of the concert, it was only available to stream for 48 hours.

“Oh, I’ll be getting this,” one person said. “Go queen go,” said another. “Amazing,” another user wrote.

Some also called for the superstar to release more of her concerts on DVD. Some specifically requested that she release her Cry Pretty Tour from 2019. “Can we also get a Cry Pretty tour DVD/ streaming download too?” someone asked in the comments section. “2 in 1 Cry pretty concert plz,” wrote another fan.
