Offering her love to the dads in her life, country superstar Carrie Underwood took to her Instagram to say Happy Father’s Day on Sunday (June 20th).

“I am beyond blessed to have two amazing fathers in my life,” Carrie Underwood shares in the post about her father and husband, retired pro hockey player Mike Fisher. “My own, of course, and the father of my boys. And today, I thank my perfect Father in heaven for them both! I love you, Dad and @mfisher1212! And #HappyFathersDay to all the dads out there! #blessed.”

Carrie Underwood’s fans also wished her dad and Mike a Happy Father’s Day. “Happy Father’s Day to your hubby and to your Dad!” one fan writes. Another adds, “Happy Father’s Day! Love you Carrie.”

Carrie Underwood’s Marriage to Mike Fisher

Carrie Underwood was introduced to Mike Fisher in later 2008. The couple got engaged in December 2009 and were married in July the following year. The couple has two sons, Isaiah Michael Fisher (born in 2015) and Jacob Bryan Fisher (born in 2019).

In a recent interview, Carrie Underwood dished about her time with Mike during COVID-19 lockdown. “Well, my husband did say, ‘You know what? I like you.’ And I was like, ‘I like you, too. Like, it’s kinda weird. He’s like, ‘No, you know you love someone, but it’s like when you are off doing your own thing, and then, you know, you come have dinner together, you don’t really have to, like, deal with each other that much.”

Carrie continues that Fisher told her, “We’ve been together, and some couples kind of get stronger, and you see some go the other way. And so, like, we were really good at being together all day, every day.”

Also speaking about the growth her family experienced in the past year, Carrie Underwood revealed, “There was just a lot of heaviness of the past year. But there were also a lot of silver linings and I got to sit in one place and watch my boys grow up.”

Carrie went on to add, “Just getting to wake up every morning and see them, and put them to bed every night. My husband was like, ‘How many dinners have we sat at this table?’ And I’m like, ‘Well, there’s 52 weeks in a year, seven days a week.’ I was like, ‘You can do the math!’”

What’s Next For Carrie’s Music Career

Last month, Carrie Underwood announced she was making her return to the Grand Ole Opry stage. The Hall, which is celebrating its 95th anniversary, is hosting a variety of musical talents. Underwood took to the stage of the amphitheater on June 8th. She also recently announced her Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency, which will take place at the Resorts World Las Vegas for an initial limited run of six shows from December 1st through 11th.

Carrie Underwood spoke about the residency by commenting, “Don’t get me wrong, I’m so looking forward to getting back to normal and singing on a stage in front of people, but it was a kind of a forced slow down.”
