Carrie Underwood and NEEDTOBREATHE stole the show last night with an incredible performance of their new collaboration “I Wanna Remember.”
Last night at the CMT Awards, Carrie Underwood and NEEDTOBREATHE harmoniously collaborated to create an amazing performance. I mean, these two literally sound recorded. Not a mistake was made!
With the high note skills from 38-year-old Underwood and the butter-like voice of the Christian rock band lead vocalist Bear Rinehart, the pair sounded like a choir of angels.
Don’t believe us? Listen for yourself. Even the award show couldn’t get over it.
From the outfit choices to the airy and whimsical stage decorations, it’s going to be hard not to remember this.
Fans quickly flocked to social media to give Carrie Underwood and NEEDTOBREATHE’s performance the hype it rightfully deserves.
“That was phenomenal! Not one missed note. Their voices are such an awesome blend, too. Love it!” said one user. While this fan called it the “Best of the night!”
NEEDTOBREATHE also took to Twitter to thank fans as well as their former American Idol champion co-part, calling her an honorary band member for life.
“Thanks for tuning in to our performance on the @cmt awards! And thanks @carrieunderwood for hitting all the high notes and for being so incredibly kind to this rock and roll band from South Carolina. You have a spot in the band anytime.”
