On Tuesday, the official Twitter account of Sunday Night Football shared a heartwarming video of an 86-year-old woman dancing along to the opening theme song performed by country star Carrie Underwood.

The woman’s name is Marlene and she lives in Montclair, California. Marlene is a big football fan, and has come to love Underwood’s new theme song. The 86-year-old told SNF on NBC that she looks forward to watching each week. In fact, she says it’s the highlight of her week when she gets to watch Sunday Night Football.

In addition, one of her favorite parts of the program is getting to sing and dance along with Underwood during the opening theme song.

During the video, Marlene is first seen sitting down tapping her knees as the SNF intro song begins. However, it doesn’t take long for Marlene to stand up and start dancing along with Underwood. She gets up from her chair, and with the assistance of her walker, she starts to show Underwood she’s got some moves of her own.

Marlene boogies throughout the theme song. It’s clear why she looks forward to SNF on NBC each week.

“A must watch: 86-year-old grandma, Marlene, of Montclair, CA dancing to @carrieunderwood’s SNF open will brighten your day,” SNF‘s tweet read.

“‘She waits all week for Sunday Night Football – it’s the highlight of her week!'” the post shared.

Underwood Responds to Marlene’s Dancing Video

A few hours after the SNF account posted the video, Underwood heard about it and had to respond. The country star graciously retweeted the video adding some kind comments along the way.

The video obviously touched Underwood and she loved it so much she even said that Marlene “made every Sunday” for her for the rest of her life.

“Marlene just made every Sunday for me for the rest of my life! Glad she’s as excited as I am about @SNFonNBC!” Underwood wrote, adding a heart emoji.

Hopefully the message made its way back to Marlene, and she keeps dancing along with Underwood for years to come.
