Country superstar Carrie Underwood is a unicorn of a super woman.
She cooks, she cleans, she sings. Carrie Underwood raises her two young boys with her husband. She even gets in her workout. After all, she’s a businesswoman, too. And her business is workout clothing. This holiday season, Underwood has three pop-up shops selling her cute athleisure outfits.
But Mike Fisher, Underwood’s husband, wants you to know that his wife of 10 years does sometimes mess up. Her flaw might be doing laundry. (Horrors!)
Fisher, on his Instagram story feed, mocked his beautiful, talented wife.
Fisher posted a photo of Underwood holding up a sweater that appeared to be small enough for one of her kids, maybe 5-year-old Isaiah.
He captioned it “finally, she shrinks her own sweater.” Fisher also threw in a couple of crying laughing emojis.
Oops. So now we know Underwood may not be perfect. Carrie Underwood’s husband may get a slap on the wrist for the photo.
Carrie Underwood, We Found Some Tips For Washing Sweaters
Our tip is to never put a cashmere sweater in the washing machine. It shrinks.
We even looked up how to wash cashmere in case Underwood – or any of our readers – needs some tips.
Truly, there is no doubt the 37-year-old Underwood truly is a superwoman. She posted a video of her home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner, with the song “Hungry Eyes,” to her Instagram.
Yes, that’s your stomach growling. Underwood posted: “I cooked for two days. It was gone in two minutes.”
And: “Couldn’t be with the fam this year, but we feasted nonetheless! I worked hard and our bellies are stuffed! Shoutout to @ifjayhadinstagram for the turkey, which I did not try (I’m a Tofurky kind of girl) but was told it was delicious! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!”
Remember, Underwood is a committed vegetarian. She won’t cook meat.
On a recent “Zane Lowe Show,” Underwood confessed that she still feels like an underdog. And she’s serious, although she’s the proud singer of 14 No. 1 country songs.
“No matter what you do, there’s going to be somebody out there that [doesn’t like you]. But it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter what the negative thing is — I want to prove them all wrong.”
It’s a nice attitude to keep it all fresh. Like laundry.
