Amidst the ongoing stress of 2020, the current Presidential Election has many fans reeling. For Daniels Jr.s part, however, he many have asked what the late Sr. would’ve thought of all this mess.

“Many people have posted on social media stating that they were glad that dad wasn’t having to deal with the stress of this election… Others have wondered what he would have to say about the whole situation,” Charlie Daniels Jr. prefaces. As a result, Daniels Jr. wants fans to know how he thinks his legendary father would react to it all.

“Last week was hectic, distracting and stressful for obvious reasons,” he begins in his write-up for his father’s official site. “Many people have posted on social media have been stating that they were glad that dad wasn’t having to deal with the stress of this election. Which has seemingly been counting mail-in ballots since the Eisenhower administration, with no end in sight.”

“Others have wondered what he would have to say about the whole situation. If I know my dad, I think it would probably be something like this,” Jr. says.

Charlie Daniels Jr. on his Father’s Beliefs

For his part, Jr. says his father would say “Be patient. Let the process play out, and nothing has been decided yet, despite what the media – who does not decide who our president is – has to say about it. It’s not over yet. I think he would also add that no matter what happens, God is still on His throne, and we trust that He has a plan, even if we don’t understand it.

And he would be right.

Daniels Jr. ends his blog entry by echoing further sentiments he inherits from his father.

“Pray for our troops, our police, the peace of Jerusalem and our country. God Bless America!”
