Chase Rice is constantly proving he’s the “cool uncle” while also expressing how much he loves his young niece and nephew. The country music artist is continuously bragging about them on social media. He even lets the kiddos occasionally join him on stage.
Chase Rice: The “Cool Uncle”
Most recently, Rice shared several pictures on Instagram of his young nephew on stage with him during a concert in Daytona, FL.
Uncle Chase is all smiles while holding his nephew, who also seems to be enjoying the show and the attention, as well.
Under the photos, Rice wrote: “When you’re nephew is more brave than any 3 year old I’ve known and comes up on stage to sing Eyes on You. Safe to say I was happy as Hell to be doing live music again. And Dan man made it that much better. Killed it little buddy.”
The song “Eyes on You” is Rice’s first number one single on country radio, staying at the top for two weeks in May 2019.
People are commenting on Chase’s post, with one fan saying: “OMG….my heart!”
And another adding: “You are a sweet and great uncle.”
One person also asks: “Come to Cleveland! I need live music!”
Rice’s Niece is a Twinkling Little Star
In 2018, prior to the coronavirus, Rice was performing at the Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale when he invited his young niece, Addie, to join him.
Addie came on stage with her “Uncle Chris,” and without any hesitation, she grabbed the mic, and performed a striking solo rendition of “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.” She even had the crowd sing along with her.
Chris posted the video to Instagram, saying: “When your niece is more of a rockstar than you’ll ever be. Probably my favorite moment I’ve ever had on stage.”
