While he’s known for his music, Charlie Daniels made several guest appearances in the realm of television. It has been 37 years since the late country singer appeared on Lee Major’s “The Fall Guy.”

“The Fall Guy” was an action/adventure series that aired on ABC from 1981 until 1986. The series starred Majors in the starring role as a stunt man turned bounty hunter. Majors’ character used skills that he learned in Hollywood to capture criminals and fugitives. The show aired for 113 episodes.

Daniels’ band and PR team remembered the time Daniels appeared on the show. They shared a screen-shot of the episode, which featured Daniels along with Dottie West and Ray Stevens.

On Twitter, they wrote, “ON THIS DAY in 1983, the CDB appeared on the Lee Majors TV series, ‘The Fall Guy,’ in an episode entitled, “Pirates of Nashville.” Also appearing were fellow @countrymusichof members Dottie West and @RayStevensMusic.”

According to IMDb, Daniels appeared as himself in episode nine of season three, “Pirates of Nashville.” In the episode, the son of a record company worker goes on the run in Nashville. The episode also involved a record counterfeiting operation.

“The Fall Guy” wasn’t the only TV show Daniels appeared on in his decades-long career. He also hosted two episodes of “Hee-Haw” and had a guest role on “King of the Hill” among other things, according to TV Guide.
