Dan + Shay + Their Families + Dogs all in one video. What’s not to adore?

The country group recently released the video for their new Christmas song “Take Me Home for Christmas.” And the video features the families of Dan + Shay, with the dogs making cameos at the end. The video hits you in all the holiday feels.

Shay Mooney’s son, Asher, appears first in the video to introduce the group. Mooney and partner Dan Smyers, sporting Christmas sweaters, begin singing. In the video, Mooney and Smyers are next-door neighbors, with each family living in look-alike brownstones covered in snow.

The duo’s wives. Abby and Hannah, run outside to join their husbands on the porch. There’s more singing. The family dogs make an appearance at the end, then the curtains close as if we’ve just seen a school play.

Dan + Shay Added to CMA Country Christmas Special

Earlier Wednesday, Dan + Shay was added to the lineup for the CMA Country Christmas Special, which will air Nov. 30.

The group never has released a full holiday album, but this is their second Christmas song. Two years ago, they released their version of “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.”

Group Is Enjoying Quite a November

Dan + Shay are enjoying quite the month. They performed their “10,000 Hours” song with pop star Justin Bieber last week at the CMA Awards Show in Nashville. And they won Best Vocal Group for the second straight year.

On Sunday, they’ll be singing at the American Music Awards, where they’re nominated for three awards. They’ll compete against Florida Georgia Line and Old Dominion. They’re up for favorite country song for 10,000 Hours. Their song with Bieber is up for best collaboration against stiff competition from the likes of Cardi B, DaBaby, Lady Gaga, and Megan Thee Stallion.
