On Tuesday, January 12, Morgan Wallen released a live stream show of his new album Dangerous: The Double Album. He performs the live stream from Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

All in all, Wallen’s 30-song album live stream is 75 minutes long and features all of his songs. Now though, it is streaming in full on Youtube.

Even though Ryman Auditorium was not nearly at full capacity for the performance, it was still enough to be loud. But, the pandemic didn’t stop fans from singing along and thoroughly enjoying themselves.

Morgan Wallen’s Rousing Live-Stream Performance

At the beginning of his performance, Morgan Wallen is sitting at his keyboard. He starts singing somberly for the wistful first song on the Dangerous album, “Sand In My Boots.”

However, as the show progresses, Wallen picks up the tempo. During his song, “Somethin’ Country,” his full band joins him on stage for the jam-style song.

After finishing that song, he dives into the other title tracks on Dangerous. Morgan Wallen sings the amazingly written “Still Goin’ Down” as well as the alcohol lover’s song “Beer Don’t.”

Morgan Wallen progresses through the rest of his songs in a perfectly choreographed fashion. The audience loves the entire performance, cheering in between songs, clapping, and singing along.

At the end of his performance, Wallen wraps the show up with a selection of his more serious songs. He plays the somber tale “Somebody’s Problem” and the sad love story “More Than My Hometown.” Interestingly, “More Than My Hometown” is his first number one song from the album.

During the show, he talks to the crowd about making music from home and doing a live stream. He says, “I don’t even know what the future holds, so I appreciate that.”

As his encore song, he plays his version of Jason Isbell’s song “Cover Me Up.”

Morgan Wallen released Dangerous: The Double Album on Friday, January 8. It is doing incredibly well, smashing streaming records on all of its platforms, and it is only five days old.
