Dolly Parton and Her Pup Wish ‘Y’all and Your Furry Friends’ a Merry Christmas in Festive Post

Dolly Parton is wishing us all a Merry Christmas Eve and now we don’t want a “Christmas Without You,” Dolly.

The absolutely iconic country music star recently shared a photo with her fans on Christmas Eve. She is dressed up in some Santa Claus apparel and is sitting in front of a festively decorated Christmas tree.

Dolly Parton Wishes Us a Merry Christmas Eve

She really is playing Santa in the photo, seeing as her dog is sitting right on her lap. Her pup is even wearing his very own special Santa hat to grace all of our social media accounts.

“Merry Christmas Eve from Billy The Kid and I to y’all and your furry friends,” Dolly Parton captioned the amazing photo. She even tagged her pup’s Instagram account, because, obviously, he has his very own.

This account has a total of nearly 37,000 followers and is even considered a “Public Figure” on Instagram. Billy the Kid is an icon in his own right and is dubbed “the official god dog of Dolly Parton.” Move over, Miley Cyrus. Dolly may be your godmother, too, but there’s something extra special about this Frenchie.

You can check out Billy the Kid’s Instagram account to see all kinds of adorable sleeping photos or even the pup out and about.

All in all, there’s really no one else we want to be wishing us a Merry Christmas Eve than Parton and her faithful furry sidekick.

Dolly Parton Talks Holidays at Dollywood

If you want to get even closer to Dolly Parton this holiday season, you can travel to her theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

The “Jolene” singer owns Dollywood out in the Smoky Mountains. Fans can also take part in the theme park’s Smoky Mountain Christmas. The event will run all the way through January 2. So, not only can you celebrate Christmas there, but you can also ring in the new year.

Not only that, but Dolly Parton went out of her way to make sure the space will leave viewers in absolute awe.

“We all have our personal Christmases, but we also have that thought of what we see on TV or what we read in books of those great old Christmases. In addition to bringing our own Christmas to life, we wanted to have it like a fairytale. Truly a winter Christmas wonderland,” Parton said in a recent interview with People.

There are over 100 miles of Christmas lights hanging on thousands of trees, all done by hand. The nightly parades, the light shows, the fireworks, different original holiday shows, the food, and the all-around experience are truly unlike anything else.
