The 65-year-old country music star did a few songs with Underwood back in July at the CMA Summer Jam.

The duo sang Dwight Yoakam’s “A Thousand Miles From Nowhere” and “Guitars & Cadillacs.” For Underwood, she said it was a career-defining moment.

After the show, she took to social media to tell how great of a time she had.

Yoakam Canceled Concert Last Month

The singer had to cancel his Canton, Ohio show due to a case of food poisoning. Show organizers said Dwight Yoakam had never arrived in Canton before contracting the illness. Reportedly, he got sick at his home in Los Angeles.

The newspaper said that the Canton show was trouble, as that Oct. 1 date was the third time the concert officials postponed the date. Two other times officials moved it because of the pandemic.

Tickets purchased for the scheduled concert will be honored for the new date.

January will be a big month for the star as he returns to touring. On Jan. 12, Yoakam plays at Captial One Hall in Tysons, Va. He’ll be in the South for a while with three dates at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. He’ll finish the end of the month with Florida tour stops in Clearwater, Jacksonville, Fort Myers, and Melbourne.

Yoakam Starred In Eastwood Movie
