The Country music king, Garth Brooks, has done it again. He recently took to social media to announce another record he has broken.

The Garth Brooks Stadium tour is back and already breaking records. Brooks is the highest top-selling solo artist of all time.

Old news, right. But what about this. For his upcoming, already sold-out show in Kansas City, Missouri, on August 7, more than 74,500 tickets were bought on Friday alone, reports a news release from his public relations firm. That is all of them—every last ticket.

Why did they sell out so quickly? We have a few theories. Firstly, it will be Garth Brooks’s first show at Arrowhead Stadium ever. So many people have been waiting many years for this moment.

Next, it’s 2021. We didn’t get much out of 2020, so excited fans are looking to scratch their concert itch asap.

Finally, it’s Garth Brooks. Enough said.

Exciting News Out of KC

On the morning of June 11, Brooks shared his excitement and gratitude to the people of Kansas City for their ticket purchases.

“HOLY COW KC!!! YOU already BROKE THE RECORD, and they are already releasing production holds??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? THANK YOU!!! BIG LOVE! g #GARTHinKC”

Garth Brooks took to social media to announce the exciting record, telling fans to prepare for a good night.

“Just in: #GARTHinKC Broke The Entertainment Record For GEHA Field At Arrowhead Stadium. In Kansas City, In Just One Hour. The Concert Sold Out With Over 74,500 Tickets Sold! Get ready to have FUN!!! – Team Garth.”

Fans rolled in to congratulate the country star on the achievement.

“Congratulations, though I’m not surprised,” said one fan. “Nothing but talent and class.”

Another person noted how long they have waited for this moment, saying it’s finally her turn.

“I’ll be there. Can’t wait. 1st time seeing Garth. I have waited 35 yrs and my dream is finally a reality. Worked 3 jobs raising 3 kids on my own. They were my focus. Now it’s my turn.”

Heck yeah, let loose, mama!

Garth Brooks Stadium Tour

According to Garth Brooks’ website, you may have a hard time getting tickets to one of his shows. Every concert for his stadium tour has sold out, past and future. Furthermore, Brooks’ performance on July 17 in Salt Lake City, Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium, has also set a new record.

The website notes that this concert, which will be the first at the stadium in ten years, is the fastest sellout in Ticketmaster history.

As for the debut in Lincoln, Nebraska, fans haven’t seen Garth Brooks or any musical event at Memorial Stadium in 34 years. Following the news of Brooks’s arrival, more than 86,000 tickets were sold in 75 minutes! Sheesh!
