Garth Brooks Brings Back Stadium Concerts with Massive Las Vegas Show

Stadium concerts have officially returned and country legend Garth Brooks is all for it. The singer and songwriter took to his Instagram account on Sunday (July 11th) to share some awesome snaps of his massive Las Vegas show the night before.

“LIVE MUSIC is BACK!!! I miss you already!!! … THANK YOU for my life and for tonight!!!! love, g #GARTHinVEGAS,” Garth Brook captioned the post.

According to TMZ, Garth Brooks’ show hosted a sold-out crowd of 68,000 at the Allegiant Stadium. The media outlet proclaims the show as the first major stadium concert since the COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns began in March 2020.

During his performance, Garth Brooks reportedly tells the crowd, “To every musician out there, all I can say is get back in the game because it’s the great feeling in the world.” He then adds that he’s never been made to “feel at home” as quickly as last night’s crowd made him feel.

Garth Brooks’ next stadium concert will take place in Salt Lake City next week. He will also have performances in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Kansas City, Missouri, Lincoln, Nebraska, and Cincinnati, Ohio. The majority of his concerts have sold out completely. He is set to perform his first-ever concert at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee on July 31st.

Garth Brooks Talks Trisha Yearwood’s COVID-19 Diagnosis

During an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this year, Garth Brooks chats with Ellen as well as his wife, Trisha Yearwood, about Yearwood’s COVID-19 diagnosis a few months prior. “She’s doing great,” Garth explains. “And I gotta tell you, man, I’m not the guy who believes in pyramids or stars lining up and stuff, but I do believe in the power of prayer.”

Garth Brooks reveals that the second everyone knew about the diagnosis, all the thoughts and prayers worked and she was “more gorgeous than she’s ever been.” He then discusses how she’s doing post-COVID-19 recovery. “She seems to be a hundred percent [better]. She got real, at the end there during fatigue she got real impatient, really kind of mean and sassy. And I thought, ‘Well, she’s back to herself.’”

Garth Brooks recalls what it was like in quarantine and describes it as like living in a little house and you can’t go anywhere. “So you couldn’t walk away from the conversation. And I thought it was great,” Brooks proclaims. “I think we came out on the other end even closer and tighter than when we went in.”

Trisha also reveals her thoughts about quarantine. “We spent basically this whole year [together]. We’re together most of the time. But everybody’s been home. So year, there’s nowhere to run.”
