Is Garth Brooks one of the most fortunate men on the face of the planet? He quite possibly is. Now, we can’t chalk this all up to luck, but if you look at the facts, he’s living one heck of a life. For instance, he’s the best-selling country artist of all time. Additionally, he sells out massive venues in record time because he has legions of adoring fans. On top of that, he gets to travel the world with his wife, Trisha Yearwood. All of the fans, fame, and fortune are great. However, the fact that he can share that with a woman he loves so much is the icing on the already delicious cake.
Last night, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood teamed up with Darius Rucker, Dustin Lynch, Vince Gill, and other huge names in country music for a very special celebration. They came together to celebrate the Grand Ole Opry’s 5,000th Saturday night show. The Opry made country music famous. At the same time, it is the genre’s oldest hallowed institution. Just playing the Opry stage is a highlight for many artists. Likewise, becoming a member of the Opry is something artists dream about. Playing the Opry stage, as a member, to celebrate the momentous occasion must have been like walking on air. The fact that Garth got to do it alongside Trisha is absolutely priceless.
Last night, Garth Brooks shared an adorable photo of him and Trisha Yearwood walking down the hall backstage at the Opry. These two are nothing short of couple goals. Check out the photo below.
Garth kept the caption short and sweet. “Celebrating the greatest family to be part of… with my best friend!!!!”
Looking Closer at Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood’s Sweet Snap
To me, the best and most adorable thing about this photo is that it is obviously candid. They’re walking down the hall holding hands with their backs to the camera. The photographer snapped the picture while the couple was mid-step. It just doesn’t look like a planned couple’s photo at a big event. Instead, it seems like a candid photo of a man and his wife enjoying one another’s company while taking in a heavy moment before stepping onto the genre’s most hallowed stage.
Garth Returning to the Opry House
Garth Brooks is no stranger to the Grand Ole Opry stage. However, he’s bringing a very special show to the legendary venue in November.
After his Garth, The Ryman, & You shows sold out in record time, Brooks wanted to add another intimate performance to his schedule. So, he’s taking that performance, which includes fan interaction and stories behind some of his biggest songs, to the Opry House. Tickets went on sale for that event on Friday and are already sold out.
