It’s a few days past Mother’s Day but it is never a bad time to celebrate the women that brought us into the world. Allie Colleen is the daughter of Garth Brooks and his former wife, Sandy Mahl. She took to social media yesterday (Monday) to recognize the “mommas” in her life with a touching Instagram post.
“Celebrating the gorgeous mommas in my life,” she writes in the Monday social media post. “I love you so much. My beautiful mommas and my sister who is THE coolest mom, other than my other sister who is also the coolest Mom. Happy Mother’s Day.”
She concludes her Instagram post with a heart emoji. The message took in a lot of attention with several replies wishing the group of mothers a very special day.
Garth Brooks Has a Very Talented Family
Considered one of the most influential music artists ever Garth Brooks has a career spanning nearly four decades. While country music is his jam, Brooks has earned popularity by combining different elements of rock and pop into his music. Brooks has nine albums to reach the Recording Industry Association of America’s (RIAA) diamond status. The country icon has a plethora of awards and achievements to his name, including two Grammy Awards and 17 American Music Awards. He also won the RIAA Award for best-selling solo albums artist of the century in the United States.
Garth Brooks, now 59-years-old, is noted for hit singles “Friend in Low Place” and “The Thunder Rolls” among many others. For a couple of years, debate raged over whether Brooks or Elvis Presley was the best-selling solo artist of all time. RIAA officials say his total album sales are more than 136 million, which puts him barely above the King of Rock and Roll. Not bad company to be for the country superstar.
Allie Colleen is the youngest daughter of Garth Brook and his first wife, Sandy Mahl, at 24-years-old. She is married to Physical Education teacher Jonathan Roberts. The couple married in November of 2018.
