Garth Brooks Labels Loretta Lynn the ‘Goddess of Country Music’ in Birthday Tribute

A country music legend such as Loretta Lynn deserves to be celebrated every day. But on her birthday, it’s only fitting that some of the most famous figures in country music – including Garth Brooks – are taking time to honor her.

On Wednesday (April 14), Brooks celebrated the Coal Miner’s Daughter with a special tweet. In it, he gave her another very special nickname – “The Goddess of Country Music.” That’s a nickname that should definitely stick!

Here’s what Garth Brooks had to say on Wednesday: “Happy Birthday to the Goddess of Country Music!!!!! I LOVE you Miss @LorettaLynn!!!! love, g.”

Unsurprisingly, fans of Loretta Lynn and Garth Brooks had some very positive feelings about his birthday tweet. And, they joined Brooks in wishing Lynn a happy birthday.

“Happy Birthday, @LorettaLynn and hope you had a wonderful day. STAY SAFE AND #LOVEONEANOTHER,” one fan shared.

“Happy happy birthday to Miss Loretta Lynn! You are still the best!!” another posted.

Garth Brooks Not Only Country Music Star Wishing Loretta Lynn a Happy Birthday

Garth Brooks isn’t the only country music star who has wished Loretta Lynn a happy 89th birthday. Alan Jackson and Tanya Tucker both shared special messages with her via social media on April 14.

Both singers shared photos of them with the Coal Miner’s Daughter on Twitter. Jackson’s photo also included The King of Country George Strait as well. Tucker shared four photos of her with Lynn.

“Wishing Miss @LorettaLynn a very happy birthday!” Alan Jackson shared along with the photo.

Tucker’s birthday message to Lynn was as equally moving and sweet as Garth Brooks’ and Alan Jackson’s.

“My hero, my world and a lot of our idols is @LorettaLynn! We thank the good Lord & I wish u the happiest of birthdays darlin! Wish I could be there to celebrate with u, but I’m gonna get a big rain check! I (love) u & our song together on your new album. (Photos): @DKupishNash,” Tucker posted.

Loretta Lynn turned 89 years old on April 14. But, she is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. She even released a popular album celebrating her career and women in country music last month. The album is titled “Still Woman Enough.”

On Wednesday, Loretta Lynn shared photos of her as “89, fine like wine” on Instagram. According to the caption with those photos, the Coal Miner’s Daughter is looking forward to another trip around the sun with family, friends, and music.
