Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood join in on the congratulation wishes to their long-time friends, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton.
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are newly engaged and are still basking in the glow as congratulatory wishes rain in. Most recent to offer their thoughts are married couple, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. Well, it’s more of a message meant for Stefani.
According to Taste of Country Nights, Yearwood jokingly says, “We’re all saying good luck to Gwen!”
Brooks and Yearwood haven’t spoken directly to the couple yet but mentions that they will because they’re buddies. Brooks chimes in with, “I imagine they’re getting inundated, especially him. Nobody’s congratulating her, but him …”
Brooks is always poking fun at Shelton, most recently he called Shelton his “second favorite female singer.”
Brooks and Shelton have a long-standing relationship. Both call Oklahoma home and recently released a duet together called “Dive Bar.”
Brooks and Yearwood join the list of congratulations that have been sent out, including a tweet from fellow “The Voice” coach, John Legend, as well as a special message sent from the hit TV show, “The Voice.”
Brooks and Yearwood have been in trending in the news, as well, thanks to their cover of hit-song “Shallow.”
Both Shelton and Stefani are both returning as coaches on this season of “The Voice.”
