Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are set to air Garth & Trisha Live! A Holiday Concert Event on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 8:30 p.m. ET.

After “crashing” the internet with over 5.2 million views with his Facebook show, Inside Studio G, Brooks and Yearwood were initially given a CBS special earlier this year. They are now back at it with a holiday-themed special which, Brooks promises fans, will be a fun viewing experience. “This is gonna be a fun night no matter what happens,” Brooks says.

Fans will have the chance to be a part of Yearwood’s and Brook’s everyday lives because the couple will be broadcasting the special from their home. “I think we’re going to be in the kitchen…and maybe by the fireplace. Maybe in the studio,” says Brooks. “We can go all over the place. It should be fun,” he continues.

Fans Can Request Songs For For Garth Brooks And Yearwood To Perform

The best part is that fans can request songs for the couple to perform by commenting on their social media posts. An offering, CBS Executive Vice President, Jack Sussman, says is a fan-favorite. “Our viewers loved reaching out directly to Garth and Trisha to request their favorite hits back when the pandemic first hit,” says Sussman. “It brought some fun and joy directly into their living rooms as they were hunkered down with their families.”

Undeniably one of country music’s favorite couple, Brooks and Yearwood are the perfect duo to spread some holiday joy, says Sussman. “…Who better to bring some holiday magic, performing some of the greatest holiday songs of all time than Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood?” asks Sussman.

The special will be filmed without a live studio audience. Additionally, there will only be a small crew and they will all follow social distancing guidelines. Garth & Trisha Live! A Holiday Concert Event will air on Sunday, December 20th on the CBS Television Network. Fans can also live stream the special on CBS All Access.
