Live music is coming back in leaps and bounds. Several artists are already on the road and rocking shows across the country. In the coming months, fans across the nation will get to see one of country music’s biggest stars live and in person. George Strait is currently packing his calendar with big shows. However, he isn’t planning a full-on tour. Instead, Strait is slowly announcing one huge show after another.
Most recently, George Strait announced that he will be heading to Arkansas in March of 2022. The one-night stand that he’s calling Strait to the Natural State takes place on Friday, March 18th. He’ll pack the Simmons Bank Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, September 17th at 10 am Central Time. However, select presales will go on sale tomorrow, September 10th. Tickets for Strait to the Natural State start at just $79. Less than $80 before taxes and fees to see a living legend perform some of his biggest hits live? That’s a steal. Be sure to set a reminder so you don’t miss out.
Ticketmaster is handling all sales for George Strait’s Arkansas show. They do not require proof of COVID vaccination for their events nor does the venue. However, attendees are “strongly encouraged” to wear masks during events, per the venue’s official website.
George Strait’s Packed Calendar
If you can’t make it all the way to Little Rock to see George Strait, there are plenty of other options. The King of Country Music will start taking the stage in October. He’ll headline both weekends of the Austin City Limits Music Festival. That festival runs from October 1-3 and 8-10 and will take place at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas. Strait will play on Oct. 1st and Oct. 8th.
Then, George Strait is teaming up with Eric Church for a The King & The Chief iteration of the ATLive festival. That takes place on November 5th at Atlanta, Georgia’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. That show is bound to be a highlight of the year for many fans.
George Strait is heading up North after his Atlanta engagement. He’ll be at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota on November 13th. After that, the next chance to see King George perform will be at Strait to Vegas. His Las Vegas residency is set for December 3rd and 4th. Then, he’ll return to Sin City on February 11th and 12th.
Two days after Strait to the Natural State, George Strait will be in Houston, Texas. He’ll be returning to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for the 31st time in his long career.
In short, it’s a good time to be a George Strait fan. Long live the king.
