On Monday night, pop star Gwen Stefani showed up to “The Voice” while wearing her new engagement ring on television for the first time.

Stefani, 51, got engaged to her fellow “The Voice” coach and country star Blake Shelton back in October. However, fans caught their first glimpse of the singer’s engagement ring during the singing competition’s first round of live shows.

Previous to Monday night’s episode, all other recent shows were filmed before Shelton proposed to Stefani. Therefore, fans of the show are just now being treated to the pair as an engaged couple.

During last night’s show, Shelton mentioned the couple’s engagement in passing while complimenting a contestant’s performance.

“Not to be weird, my fianceé’s right there … I love you guys,” Shelton said of the group Worth the Wait.

Additionally, “The Voice” host Carson Daly also acknowledged the couple’s recent engagement. In fact, as he introduced country singer Ben Allen, he called him the musician that “Gwen stole from her fiancé” during the show’s knockout round.

Stefani “Picking Country” For the Rest of Her Life

Two weeks ago, Stefani shared an amusing clip from “The Voice” of the four coaches debating on how to pick singers.

“My team is so eclectic,” the singer explained, saying she’s had a hard time choosing between singers. “They can’t compete with each other because they’re so different. So how do you choose two different styles, you know?”

“If it’s always a tie between talent, then you go with the country artist,” her country singer fiancé jokingly responded.

“Okay,” Stefani said, nodding. “For the rest of my life, I’m gonna pick country.”

“I chose country @BlakeShelton #TeamGwen #TheVoice,” Stefani tweeted along with the short clip from the show.

In other “The Voice” news, Stefani also recently announced that she will step down from her position on the show next season. Singer and actor Nick Jonas will replace Stefani for Season 20, which should be any easy transition since he was on the show’s 18th season as well.
