It’s official: Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin are divorced.

On Thursday, Kramer shared the news with her fans via Instagram. She wrote that she was “taking a minute to reflect” after receiving word that her divorce was finalized.

“Today has not been easy and I didn’t know if I would even say anything,” the 37-year-old began the emotional post. “If I’m honest I had no idea how I would feel. Relieved? Sad? But I got the ‘final’ call that I’m officially divorced and the tears came. My first feeling was failure. That I failed my kids. That I was unlovable, not enough. I had moments of anger that I never wanted this for my reality, for my kids.”

She added, “Let’s just say it was all the feels but here’s what I know….I didn’t fail my kids. I’m showing them a strong momma and I’ll continue to do that and walk away knowing I did everything I could. This isn’t the end…it’s just the beginning of my story and I’m excited, hopeful, and ready to continue the healing so I can be stronger, and love deeper. Okay back to work. Love you all! We got this !”

The country singer announced that she and the former professional football player were splitting after six years of marriage via social media on April 21.

“‘It’s time. As I try to make sense of a reality I never wanted to believe could be possible again, those words have now become a reality,” she wrote. “I’ve fought y’all, I’ve loved hard, I’ve forgiven.”

She added, “I’ve put the work in. I’ve given everything I have, and now I have nothing else to give.”

“I just can’t fight any longer. It’s time to heal,” she added. “Thank you for all the love, heart, and support, in many ways you have fought on this journey alongside me, and for that I am grateful.”

Later, court documents revealed that Kramer referenced “inappropriate marital conduct, irreconcilable differences and adultery” as the reason for seeking a divorce from Caussin

In the past, Kramer has also spoken openly about infidelity being an issue in her marriage. The two first parted ways in 2016 due to similar problems. However, they were transparent about their issues in their joint book The Good FightWanting to Leave, Choosing to Stay, and the Powerful Practice for Loving Faithfully.

Weeks after Kramer filed for divorce, the “One Tree Hill” alum marked what would’ve been her sixth wedding anniversary with Caussin in May. In an Instagram post, she shared a photo of herself with her hands in the air while on a boat. Kramer began the caption of her post, writing, “Free. And not looking back.”
