One of country music star Jason Aldean’s equipment trucks crashed on Thursday in West Virginia. The “Dirt Road Anthem” singer will be performing at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center as part of his “Back in the Saddle” tour.
A call came in around 4:20 a.m. on Thursday morning to Cabell County dispatchers in West Virginia. Officials on the scene said that Aldean’s tractor-trailer was hauling equipment for tonight’s show. Lily Bradley, a morning anchor for Channel 13 News, was one of the first to share a photo of the incident on social media. Take a look down below:
Thankfully, as Bradley wrote in her post, there were no injuries during the accident. Jason Aldean was also not on the truck at the time. The crash ended up shutting down one lane on the interstate before it was restored around 8:30 a.m.
Jason Aldean Shares Photos from His Latest Stops in Missouri
Jason Aldean took to social media once again over the weekend. This time, he shared some snaps from his latest trip to Missouri.
“Great weekend in KC and St. Louis. U guys rocked it,” he captioned a series of photos on Instagram. As you can see, one of the pictures included a group of fans in the crowd at the show. They are holding up a sign that reads, “We [love] your wife!”
Jason’s wife, Brittany Aldean, has certainly not been shy in recent weeks about sharing her political opinions online.
“My prayer as a Mama is that my babies are raised in a loving, safe place. Where they have the ability to grow into the best versions of themselves. The burden of the world we currently live in can be hard on any parent. Terrifying actually. I am currently praying for our children, our military, the hospitalized, the border, the impressionable youth, the ones standing up for change… for the right to simply make their own medical choices.”
The 44-year-old has previously spoken about how she gets backlash for some of what she says on social media. But where there are those who criticize her, she also has people who thank her for speaking out.
“We get stopped multiple times per day — people giving thanks for speaking out. YOU CAN TOO. We need you more than ever. You’ll actually be surprised at just how much support you’ll receive. As for the haters…. screw them,” she said. “They’re the reason we are where we are. REMEMBER THAT with every passing comment. We stand with you and support you, ALWAYS.”
