Out of all our favorite country artists, Jason Aldean proves time and again that he’s got the best sense of humor. Combine that with a beautiful, adorably loving family, and you’ve got internet gold.
In his latest hysterical tweet, Aldean highlights his youngest daughter’s own… highlighting abilities. And by the looks of it, tiny blue-eyed Navy Rome Williams is going to be quite the artiste’.
“Well I turned around for 2 seconds and Navy started putting makeup on like mommy……… with her Crayola Markers,” the country star posts to his Twitter.
Judging by her Crayola skills, young Navy is set to be as unique as her lovely name, too. Speaking on his and wife Brittany Aldean‘s inspiration for their littlest one’s naming, Aldean says “Roman was one of the names [Brittany] liked for Memphis and I wasn’t into it. And so she had the name Navy for this go around and I thought that was cool,” he clarifies to CMA Awards Radio.
“My name was so common growing up,” he adds. “There was always five Jasons in my class which I thought was so annoying … so I just wanted them to have names that weren’t like super weird but they were like just different enough.”
As for why Navy’s last name is Williams and not Aldine – sharp fans of the country crooner will know that her father’s full legal name is Jason Aldine Williams.
Jason Aldean has two children with wife Brittany Aldean: Navy and her big brother, Memphis.
His two oldest daughters, Keely, 15, and Kendyl, 11, he shares with his first wife, Jessica Ussery.
Jason Aldean & Family Mine More “Internet Gold”
And for those who didn’t know, you do now – Jason Aldean is absolutely terrified of spiders. How do we know this, you may ask?
“I love taking advantage of his arachnophobia,” Brittany Aldean starts off in a recent Instagram post. The two have a bubbly, hilariously playful relationship – and this footage of her pranking her hubby personifies just that.
Within, Brittany films as the family watches television. She’s all cozy up next to Jason on the couch – when she mumbles “oh my God” and mimics a spider crawling up his side to his neck. Without hesitation, Aldean freaks out and jumps forward – expletives included.
Jason, however, has a great sense of humor about his arachnophobia. Or so it seems. He begins laughing through his fear with the family before slamming some more Cheez-Its.
“Gonna make me break my d*mn leg,” Aldean smirks. And that’s only the first clip.
In addition, Brittany includes a second clip in which she hides her camera in their closet. Jason is inside looking for an outfit when Brittany enters with a small white box. She offers it to her husband, who slides the lid open. Clearly – there is a spider within – because one Jason Aldean jumps right out of his skin. His terror turns to a smile as a result of his humor, but Brittany clearly has his fears pegged and loves teasing the big guy.
