Jason Aldean is back at working doing what he does best, making music. On social media, the country singer revealed he was back in the studio again.
Aldean shared a photo of himself recording new music and also wrote, “Back in the studio today working on album 10!”
While Aldean didn’t reveal the name of his tenth album, he named his ninth studio album after the number itself. The singer released 9 during Fall 2019. Upon release, the album made No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and also top of the country chart as well. “We Back” was the lead single for that album when it debuted in Nov. 2019.
“When I came into country music and made my mark, it was with a banger,” Aldean told The Boot about that single. “But we haven’t put out a lot of that stuff over the last couple years. So we got this song and to me it just says what it says: ‘Thought we were gone, but you’re wrong – now it’s on.’”
Currently, it’s unknown when Aldean will release his next studio album. But the country singer has consistently released a new album every one to two years. Based on that pattern, Aldean’s next album may release in 2021.
Fans of Jason Aldean reacted positively to the news.
Some of Aldean’s followers reacted positively to the news since the country singer tweeted. For instance, one Twitter user wrote, “Cant wait bound to be another amazing album.”
And another commented, “Great news. Don’t hold back on the guitars, let that guy run riot. Last 2 albums have been off the scale.”
In related news, Aldean posted a tribute to the victims of Route 91 Festival shooting earlier this month. It’s been three years since a gunman opened fire during Aldean’s performance in Las Vegas. Aldean posted how that night changed him and that his thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.
