Country music singer-songwriter Jason Aldean offers his fans a little behind-the-scenes look while finishing up his latest video for “Blame It On You.”
Aldean took to Instagram on Thursday with a short clip.
In addition, he added a short note: “Just shot the brand new music video for “Blame it on you”. Can’t wait for u guys to check it out here in a couple weeks. Here’s a little sneak peak.”
The song, according to Aldean’s website, was released on Oct. 26.
“Blame It On You” is written by Kurt Allison, Tully Kennedy. John Edwards, Michael Tyler, and Brian White.
“When I hear songs like ‘Blame It On You’ that have more of a pop side but are still killer…I always want to see what we can do with it,” Aldean said. “The demo had this really cool auto-tune in the background that I immediately knew we needed to leave in there. We ended up cranking it up and now it almost sounds like there’s another singer on the song. It’s just really cool.”
Jason Aldean Celebrates 1-Year Anniversary of ‘9’
Coincidentally, “Blame It On You” is one of the hit songs off Aldean’s album “9” released in 2019.
The release is his 9th studio album, pegging it with quite the appropriate name. Featuring new country staples like “Blame It On You” and “Tattoos and Tequila”, “9” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.
‘9’s anniversary isn’t all the star’s been up to. Aldean fans will have, no doubt, caught his electric CMA awards performance.
Also, Aldean absolutely crushed the CMA Awards in honor of Charlie Daniels by playing “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” alongside a star-studded ensemble.
