It looks like Jason Aldean is living the life in Turks and Caicos this week. He’s fishing on the ridiculously blue Caribbean waters with his dad, and he just shared a photo of a huge catch.
Aldean is enjoying a short break from his Back in the Saddle tour, and he decided to spend his downtime with his dad Barry. He shared pictures of a fishing trip with the “Ol’ man’ on social media today. And we can almost hear A little More Summertime playing from the boat deck.
In the snapshots, we can see Jason and his dad Barry bonding on the open waters. And during their trip at sea, Jason apparently caught a massive fish.
“A much needed day on the water,” he captioned alongside three photos. “I talked the Ol’ man into comin’ down for a fishing trip and we went out with the @catchincaicos boys. Good times! In the final photo, Aldean is showing off what looks to be a giant Tuna.
Jason Aldean is ‘Back in the Saddle’
Jason Aldean may be getting a little R&R in the Caribean right now, but he’s about to head back out for his current tour Back in the Saddle. His next stop is Rogers, Arkansas, on Thursday.
His first concert since 2020 was in May of this year.
“We walked out and all of a sudden, it took us back to where we were a year and a half ago,” Aldean said after he took the stage in Manchester, TN. “Life kind of felt normal again, for the first time.”
A few days later, he sat down with ET’s Cassie DiLaura to talk about taking his show back on the road. “Just kind of having everything taken away from you that you love to do has been rough,” he said. “So, it just feels good to be back with the band and the crew and get a chance to get onstage, see some fans.”
Well, the Amarillo Sky singer headed out for yet another round of shows last month. And it’s clear that he’s still not taking the rush of a live crowd for granted.
After playing for a packed crowd in Virginia Beach, he posted a series of his favorite photos from the night. “Back In The Saddle! Thanks for helping us kick off the tour Virginia Beach. Holmdel, you’re up next! See y’all tonight!!!” he wrote.
