Brittany Aldean, wife of Jason Aldean said that Donald Trump is “still her president” after he lost the 2020 presidential election.
What Brittany Aldean Had to Say
On Saturday (November 7), Brittany shared a series of Instagram Stories after Joe Biden won the election. “Still my president,” she captioned a gif of her in a Trump 2020 sweatshirt.
In a second story she shared a message with her followers. “I will continue to speak for the people that message me and aren’t able (for fear of losing business or friends). It is disgusting to me that ‘freedom of speech’ applies to everyone but Republicans.”
Finally, in a third story, she shared a cartoon of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice-President-elect Kamala Harris. The animation shows Harris pushing Biden in a wheelchair. Brittany captioned the photo, “This is elderly [sic] abuse.” She added, “LMFAO wait for it,” when the second image shows Harris pushing him off of a cliff.
What Jason Has Said About Trump
In a 2016 interview, right after Trump’s election, Jason spoke with Rolling Stone regarding his politics. Aldean said that his music is geared towards the working-class people, and how he grew up. He believes that people voted for Trump because of their work.
“When it comes to elections, anybody just wants to feel like they’re being heard, no matter who you are,” he explained. “You saw that in a huge way this time around. Trump, like the guy or not, he was out there busting his butt on the campaign trail, talking to these people and putting it in laymen’s terms for them, listening to what they had to say. He wasn’t just focusing on the big companies and the big cities. He was digging into the heartland of America. You saw those people come out in a big way to support that because they want to feel like they have a voice too. He shocked the world with that.”
