Country music superstar Jason Aldean is celebrating today but not because of a recent musical accomplishment.

Instead, the singer and songwriter is celebrating his daughter Navy’s second birthday. Navy Rome is one of Aldean’s four Children and his second with wife and former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr.

The singer took to social media on Thursday to wish his his daughter a very happy birthday and share family photos.

“Hard to believe this little nugget is 2 years old today,” Aldean writes in the post’s caption space. “I wish all kids could be this sweet and loving. She is a special little girl! Happy Birthday Navy baby. We Love you so much.”

The singer adds a few birthday related emojis to the end of his post declaring it is birthday party time. Aldean has a large social media presence with more than 3.2 million followers on Instagram alone. His birthday salute to little Navy drew nearly 70,000 “likes” in under an hour after its posting. It also drew thousands of comments with several fans of the country singer also wishing the young girl a happy birthday and special day.

Jason Aldean Rocks the Country Music World

Aldean broke into country music stardom in the mid-2000s and has become one of the most beloved performers of all time. He has put out nine studio albums since signing with Broken Bow Records in 2005. He is one of the highest-selling country music artists of all time.

His 2010 smash hit studio album “My Kinda Party” is certified quadruple-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His 2012 album is certified double-platinum and he has four other studio albums that are platinum-certified.

Of the 35 singles he has put out over his career, 22 of them have taken the top spot on either Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay charts. Some of his biggest singles include “Big Green Tractor,” “When She Says Baby,” “Dirt Road Anthem” and “Take a Little Ride.”

The now 43-year-old country star has a birthday of his own coming up later this month on February 28.
