Jimmie Allen Ties the Knot With Longtime Girlfriend: See Which Country Stars Attended the Ceremony

Wedding bells are ringing for Jimmie Allen and his longtime love, Alexis Gale. On Thursday, the recent ACM Award winner married his fiancee, after postponing their original date due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

As for the star-studded guest list, People reported that the attendees included country stars like Darius Rucker, Tyler Rich and his wife Sabina Gadecki, and Chuck Wicks, and his wife Kasi, who is also Jason Aldean’s sister. The couple has yet to disclose the location of the ceremony. 

Not only did some of their guests post some sweet snaps of the pair’s big day to their Instagram stories, but the bride also shared some snaps of their wedding celebration. She posted a cute picture of the couple against white roses with their special day written on the bottom. 

In July of 2019, the couple got engaged at Disneyworld. Allen proposed to her in front of Cinderella’s castle. Both Delaware natives, the two began dating in the spring of 2019 after being introduced through Allen’s cousin’s wife. 

At the time, Alexis giddily gushed about Jimmie Allen’s proposal on her Instagram. The couple also shares a 14-month-old daughter named Naomi. Allen also has a 7-year-old son, named Aadyn, from a previous relationship.

On Thursday, Wicks took to Instagram to share a picture of himself, Rucker, and Rich all looking sharp, writing, “Just a few guys watching @jimmieallen get married… let’s GO!!! We were a little disappointed we didn’t make the best man list.”

“American Idol” alum Jimmie Allen first came onto the country music scene in 2018 with the release of his first single, “Best Shot.” At the time, the song climbed to the number one spot on the charts. He also scored another number one hit with “Make Me Want To” in 2019. 

He recently released “Freedom Was a Highway” with Brad Paisley that they performed together during the ACM Awards. During the ceremony, he won the award for New Male Artist of the Year. 

According to Jimmie Allen, the couple had an instant connection. “Her smile melts me, her pure heart challenges me to love better, the way she motivates and supports me is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, the way she loves me and my son is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced,” he gushed. “It feels incredible to find the type of love I’ve been writing songs about all these years!”

The couple has not posted to social media regarding their wedding. Additionally, they have yet to release any details surrounding their honeymoon.
