Johnny Cash’s Son John Carter Is His Dad’s Biggest Fan, See His Latest Posts About the Country Icon

Johnny Cash might have five children, but it seems like John Carter Cash is the most outspoken when it comes to his late father.

John Carter’s the only child of June Carter Cash and the Man in Black, and well accomplished in his own right. The Grammy award winner’s a singer, songwriter, producer, and even an author. Plus he owns a recording space for artists called, Cash Cabin.

Cash continues to uphold the legacy of his famous parents and shows his love by often re-mastering music from his late father. Most recently, Cash shared on Instagram with this caption, “New music lyrics by @johnnycash music, melody and new recordings by @anacristinacash , #elviscostello @hwamericans and @shawncamp01  #availablenow

Furthermore, in another post, his son shares his enthusiasm for Johnny’s music.

“I am more excited than I can say about the release of the #johnnycashforeverwords#deluxeedition #checkitout ! @anacristinacash @shawncamp01@elviscostello and @hwamericans now, with much more great music to come!” the multifaceted music maker writes.

Additionally, Cash shared a thankful message and alongside a young-looking Johnny Cash remembering him on Veteran’s Day. The caption reads, “#honor to The veterans out there today. This is my father @johnnycash when he was a very young enlistee in the United States Air Force.”

The patriarch enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at the age of 19 during the Korean War. While he was stationed at the base in Landsberg, Germany, Cash bought a guitar and wrote the hit song “Folsom Prison Blues.”

John Carter Remembers Making Music with Johnny Cash

John Carter even talks about his dad’s last days on earth. Even though Johnny Cash succumbed to his sickness, he was still in the studio making music. His son shares these tender moments on his Instagram account.
