Newly married Summer Pardi (formerly known as Summer Duncan) shared an adorable engagement photo of herself and husband Jon Pardi.
She captioned the photo by writing, “More engagement pics until I can flood your feed with wedding pics.” She ended the sentence with a fun emoji with its tongue showing.
The photos are reminiscent of a fairytale. The images show Jon and Summer holding onto one another in a field. The photographer took advantage of the “golden hour” part of the day when it’s arguably the best time for photoshoots.
Jon and Summer Pardi Officially Tie the Knot
However, they are no longer engaged. The two tied the knot on Saturday, Nov. 21, at the picturesque Saddle Wood farms outside Nashville.
However, the process of getting married hasn’t been a cakewalk for the couple. They originally intended on getting married in Montana in May, but the pandemic put a hamper on the plans.
Summer did a remarkable job showcasing the wedding planning via social media. In addition to adorable photos of the couple, Summer made sure to give fans a glimpse into the process of planning. From the dress to the food, she put the entire operation on display. She even posted a photo of herself trying on her lacy wedding dress.
In addition to social media, the couple spoke about the wedding on their CMT reality show, “Pardi Time.” The viewers get a chance to see the two work together on wedding details such as catering logistics and what type of wedding invitations to send.
Despite having to change their plans, the couple successfully made it down the aisle. In an interview with People Magazine, the couple commented on the difficulty of getting married during the pandemic.
“There’s never a right time in 2020 to get married, so after all the planning and replanning we’re happy we got to do it.”
