Country star Keith Urban’s new “Crimson Blue” song came out on Monday and will be in wife Nicole Kidman’s “Nine Perfect Strangers” finale.

The Hulu show has its season finale on Wednesday.

The very mellow, calming song has a crossover feel, with shades of psychedelic images described in the lyrics. Yahoo! News said the tune would play over the end credits.

The “Nine Perfect Strangers” series is chocked full of talent, developed from Liane Moriarty’s 2018 novel. Kidman portrays an experimental wellness retreat leader and interacts with Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, and Luke Evans. Also, Asher Keddie, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, and Tiffany Boone share the small screen.

“I can’t wait for people to get to see (the song in the show) because the journey is absolutely extraordinary,” Keith Urban told Australia’s “Sunrise” via Yahoo!

Urban said he’s really glad to be a part of the show.

According to Billboard, the 53-year-old Urban penned the song exclusively for Kidman’s show alongside Breland, Sean Small, and Sam Sumser. “Crimson Blue” is Urban’s second release of the year, with “Wild Hearts” coming out in late August.

Urban’s “Crimson Blue” Smoothie

In another unique twist to the song and show, Keith Urban put together a concoction he called a “Crimson Blue” smoothie.

The unique drink came with blue milk, blue cheese, and blueberries. Also mentioned were “special bananas from Tranquillum” in a nod to Kidman’s show.

According to Billboard, the smoothie imitates her “Nine Perfect Strangers” character, Masha (the founder of fictional health and wellness center Tranquillum House), makes during the series.

Kidman even helped out with it, added the special red touch by a dropper into the blender. She connects the show, adding a drop of red liquid into the blender and telling her hubby to “Relax.”

Urban To Get Country Radio Hall Nod

The Australian will be honored in an upcoming Country Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony held in Nashville in October. He’ll get an Artist Career Achievement Award at the show.

Last week, Keith Urban restarted his Caesar’s Palace residency in Las Vegas with shows going through the month. The artist played four shows before pandemic conditions forced the show to stop. According to Urban’s management, the singer will tour Australia in December before returning to the United States in 2022. The first show of that return will be in Durant, Okla., on Feb. 26.

Urban’s excitement for live performances has shown of late.

He told Billboard magazine that the concerts would be different with songs he wanted to play live again. He’s been patiently waiting since “The Speed of Now Part 1” came out in September of 2020.

“So we’ve got a batch of songs to place into the setlist,” Keith Urban said. “Things like ‘One Too Many’ and [songs] that were still yet to come back then.”
