Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman need no introduction. The pair earned A-list status years ago, even before they met.

However, since they wed 15 years ago, they’ve each shown great support and love for the other’s career moves. And what, with Grammys and Oscars between them, it’s no wonder fans would wonder about which interest suits their two daughters more.

With parents as talented as Urban and Kidman, their daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret are sure to follow in their footsteps. But which do they like more? Singing or acting?

According to Urban, it’s a little bit of both.

“More directing than acting, which would be kind of good,” he said, according to TODAY.

While Kidman has two grown children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, she said when she met Urban, sparks flew.

“He’s such a good man, as I’ve said before,” she told Jenna Bush Hager on TODAY last fall. “I’m married to a really good man. And the kids have a great father and that’s a very beautiful thing to be able to say.”

Urban is just as obsessed with his Aussie wife. He spoke fondly of their first interactions in an interview with Dax Sheppard, according to TODAY.

“She’s just the one, that was it,” he said during an episode of Dax Shepard’s podcast, “Armchair Expert,” last year. “She’s the one that I was searching for my whole life, and everything not only changed but had to change in me if I was going to go that road. It felt like an ultimate fork-in-the-road moment in my life. It was literally like, ‘You either get this right now, or you are never, ever going to get it right. This is your one shot.'”

Keith Urban Jokes About Retirement

With a busy schedule between them, somehow both Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman find time for each other and their family. While the singer emphasizes that family is his priority, he doesn’t plan on retiring anytime soon.

The platinum-selling, chart-topping Grammy winner has little left to prove – if anything – in terms of musical success. However, the 53-year-old doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon.

“Never gonna happen,” Urban said in a CMT interview. “I always think of retiring being about a factory job or a desk job or something that’s not your passion, necessarily. I play music because that’s what I do. I love making music, and if I weren’t doing it in the gigs that I’m doing it, I would be doing it in little clubs somewhere, or I’d be doing it at someone’s barbecue, or the weekends somewhere. It’s just what I do. So I would never retire.”

And for all of us that still need more of Keith Urban’s soulful sounds in our lives, we’re glad to hear it!
